After reaching out in hopes to find a network of like-minded women at work, I found there were many other melanated women like myself searching for camaraderie and a network they could relate to.
From there, Melanated Scenes was born!
In addition to unifying merch, Melanated Scenes hosts events in the greater Seattle area. This group was created by and for melanated women looking to build relationships through experiences. Let's be honest... we make everything, EVERYTHANG.
We don't have to fight, compete or put on a mask in fear of being labelled something we are not... BUT since we know the world will judge us anyway and we will always be a spectacle, let’s make a melanated scene™!
